New Board Directors Named
TALLAHASSEE, FL – The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) is pleased to announce the official results of its 2011 Board of Directors elections. Earning Board positions were:
- Academic & Research – Robin K. Vieira, Florida Solar Energy Center, Cocoa, FL
- At-Large – Ralph E. Locke, Environmental Construction & Consulting, Deland, FL
- Design & Analysis – Jane Bixler Conn, ES Green & Company, Tallahassee, FL
- Development & Construction – David W. Armstrong, Armstrong Custom Homes, West Melbourne, FL
- Government – Deirdre Irwin, St. Johns River Water Management District, Palatka, FL
- Product – Joseph Triolo, Progress Energy, St. Petersburg, FL
- Public Advocate – Angela Amadore, Orlando, FL
- Real Estate, Finance & Property Services – Margaret (Peggy) Christ, ReMax Alliance Group, Bradenton, FL
These new Board members will begin their 3-year terms at the FGBC Board of Directors meeting scheduled on June 1, 2011, during the FGBC GreenTrends Conference being held at the Plaza Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach on June 1-3. The Board is comprised of 25 Directors, three representatives from each of the eight affiliations, plus one representative from the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA). One seat in each category is elected annually. Arlene Stewart, AZS Consulting, Gainesville, FL, is the FHBA appointee.
