President’s Message
2011 HBCA President David Foley, LEED AP, CGR,CGP,CAPS
Home Solution Specialists
November 2011
It has been a privilege to serve as your President in the past year. On November 3rd, we will be confirming the slate of officers to continue in the direction and guidance of the Home Builders and Contractors Association.
I would like to thank the Executive Committee, Board Officers, Council chairs, committee members and most sincerely, our membership. It is through tireless volunteer efforts that we have been able to realign the Association into a more open, transparent and accountable organization.
I can say with pride that, due to the work of these volunteers, our Association is in compliance with state and national association guidelines, including all government regulations. Our status as a nonprofit has been protected, the internal affairs of the HBCA have been well addressed and processes put in place to maintain this accountability.
In the coming year, it is my hope that the Association stay on the path of uplifting our members, supporting these endeavors through education, networking and advocacy including participation with other like-minded organizations. Our common goals are seeing an improved environment of the construction industry and housing market, while remaining focused that each and every member has a voice and the opportunity to be heard.
I look forward to continuing these duties and responsibilities as past president. Working together through the strength and support of our membership, we can achieve anything.
Sincerely
David Foley
